Donald Trump Sees a Small Decline for Second Week in a Row; Joe Biden Biggest Move Up; Al Franken, Howard Schultz Reach New Highs

For the second straight week, Donald Trump’s odds saw a small decline.  This week it was from 3.27X to 3.34X.  It appears his trip to Asia didn’t help with these odds being the lowest in four weeks.

Joe Biden saw the biggest jump.  His payout dropped from 28X to 26X which was enough to move him from 11th overall to 7th.  He was last in 7th place back in July.  Multiple reports now say he is leaning towards running.

Al Franken was another Democrat to see his odds jump. He moved from 21st place to 18th place as his payout dropped from 49.5X to 45.9X.  This is the highest he has been this cycle.

Howard Schultz improved from 35th place to 27th place as his payout dropped from 66.5X to 55.0X.  This is a new high for the Starbucks Chairman. Although he has denied he is running, his answers leave man speculating.

Trump Sees Small Decline as First Russia Indictments Headline News; Kamala Harris Reaches New High; Obama Drops Despite Leading Poll; Garcetti Makes Debut

After seven weeks of drifting up, Donald Trump’s odd saw a small decline as the payout increased from 3.25X to 3.27X.  This drop coincided with the first indictments in the Russia investigation.  It will be interesting to see if it bumps back up as the headlines change to the President’s Asia trip over the next two weeks.

Kamala Harris keeps reaching new highs.  Her payout dropped from 16.4X to 15.4X and she remains in 4th place.  She made news this week by becoming the first Senate Democrat vowing to oppose any government funding bill unless Congress takes action on the DREAMers. Many see this as a 2020 ploy.

Michelle Obama saw a big decline moving from 20.4X to 21.3X. That is a new low for her, but she remains in 6th place.  She was at 12.1X and in 4th place at the end of 2016.  This drop comes despite her leading a recent survey of Democratic primary voters.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti made his debut on the list in 44th place with a payout of 82X.  This came as he announced he would not be running for Governor and as he launched a Non Profit with other mayors called Accelerator for America.

Trump’s Odds Continue to Drift Up; Pence at a New Low; Warren Ends Downward Trend; Oprah up to 7th Place

Donald Trump’s odds improved for the 7th straight week.  His payout has decreased from 3.33X to 3.25X.  It was at 3.45X seven weeks ago.  These are Trump’s best odds since the middle of August.

The same can’t be said for Trump’s VP, Mike Pence.  Although he remains a solid 2nd place, his payout increased from 9.8X to 9.9X.  This is another new low for Pence, and he has been down 4 of the last 5 weeks.

Elizabeth Warren showed some signs of life this week.  Although she’s been the leading Democrat since the beginning of this election cycle, her odds had reach a new low last week with a payout of 11.9X. She had peaked several times at 9.7X.  This week she was able to reverse the recent negative trend and improved her odds as her payout fell to 11.7X, the best odds in four weeks.

One of the hotter names the last five weeks has been Oprah Winfrey.  She once again improved, this time from 25.6X to 24.9X. This was enough to have her jump into 7th place overall.  She was in 28th place just six weeks ago.
