Updated Weekly Odds: Bush Resumes Upward Trend. Cruz, Warren, and Carson up. Christie Down.

Hillary Clinton maintains her her position as the big leader at 38.7%, but Jeb Bush appears to have resumed his upward trend improving to 11.9% from 11.4%.   This is the highest a 2nd place candidate has been up to this point.

Chris Christie has been slowly trending down.  Just 9 weeks ago he was at 3.4% and 4th overall.  This week he drops from 6th place to 7th place and now only has a 2.4% probability.  He is replaced in 6th place by Elizabeth Warren.

Ted Cruz has certainly received a lot of attention for being the first person to formally announce.  The big bump came last week with rumors of his announcement.  The interviews afterwards only bumped his odds from 1.3% to 1.4% which solidified his 10th place standing from last week.

Ben Carson moved up from 28th to 23rd place as his regular column hinted at a Carson Presidency.   This is the highest he has been seen August 2014.

Donald Trump also saw a slight jump moving from 46th to 44th possibly due to the media appearances he made as a result of Cruz’s announcement.

Updated Weekly Odds: Stability at the Top, Cruz up on Rumored Announcement, Jindal Down on Fiscal Problems

There wasn’t a lot of change at the top this week as the #1-#9 candidates remained the same.  Hillary Clinton continues to lead at at 38.6%, down slightly from 38.8% the prior week.

Jeb Bush continues to be the top challenger at 11.4%.  He has been in second since November 2014.

Marco Rubio holds on to third at 4.4%.  He is trying to hold Scott Walker.  Walker had been the hottest candidate, but he may have plateaued at 4.1%.  This was the first week where he did not show an improvement in the last 9 weeks.

The biggest mover was Ted Cruz who is rumored to announce he is running on Monday.  He moves from 15th place up to 10th place but still only at 1.3%.

On the downside, Bobby Jindal moved from 12th to 15th as he attempts to overcome Louisiana’s fiscal challenge without raising taxes.

Updated Weekly Odds: Small Dip for Clinton, Bush Plateaus, Walker Continues Rise

Hillary Clinton had a small dip moving from 39.3% to 38.8%. She still has higher odds than the next 14 candidates COMBINED.  So far she has weathered the email controversy fairly well.

Jeb Bush seems to have plateaued as he has been in the 11.4% to 11.6% range the last 5 weeks.  Prior to that he had risen steadily from below 5% in November to 10% at the start of February. Bush just made his New Hampshire debut.

The hottest candidate continues to be Scott Walker.  He moves up once again from 3.9% to 4.1%.  He has now improved for 8 straight weeks and is very close to topping the third place candidate Marco Rubio (4.4%).  He is even winning some endorsements that many thought would go to Bush.

For the Democrats, there are very few “top tier” candidates that are stepping up to take Clinton head on.  One of the few seems to be Martin O’malley.  He moved up from 15th place to 11th place as he took a jab at Clinton earlier in the week.

The lack of competition for Clinton has many calling for alternative candidates.  One of those “encouraged” to run in a slate magazine article is Deval Patrick.  He had a slight increase from 24th place to 22nd place.  He maintains he will not be running and peaked near the end of last year at 18th place.

Here is the odds on the entire field.
