Updated Weekly Odds: Clinton and Bush Reach a High; Trump Rise Continues; Rubio, Walker, Sanders fall; Kasich Enters

Hillary Clinton had the biggest rise on the week improving to the highest any of the candidates have ever been at 44.9%.  This is her fourth straight week with an increase.  This increase has come as a result of drops for those that were once seen as competitors to her nomination.  Over that same time period, we have seen drops for Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Martin O’Malley, and Jim Webb.  The only exception has been Bernie Sanders.

Sanders, at this moment, appears to be the only legitimate threat to Clinton’s nomination.  He is in 5th place overall at 3.1%.  Prior to this week, he had risen for six straight weeks.  This week, he saw a decline of 0.1%.

On the Republican side, Jeb Bush has reached the highest level for any of the 2nd place candidates at 13%, up from prior week’s 12.5%.  He has also widened the gap against his main competitors.  Marco Rubio dropped from 5.6% to 4.9% and Scott Walker dropped from 3.9% to 3.6%.

The hottest candidate has been Donald Trump.  In spite of all the controversial comments, he continues his rise.  He is now in 8th place overall at 1.5%.  He was in 50th place a mere 6 weeks ago.

Another week, and another entry into the race.  John Kasich became the latest, and likely the last mainstream entry into the race.  He moved up from 14th place to 12th place.  Kasich has been as high as 9th back in May.

We now have 16 candidates on the Republican side and 5 on the Democratic.  Here is a full list of all candidates, declared and not:
