Updated Odds: Cruz into Top 5; Clinton and Trump Continue Hot Streak; Sanders, Bush, Carson Continue with Recent Struggles

Hillary Clinton continues moving along and gaining momentum every week.  She is now at 62.7% and has now been up for 9 straight weeks.  She was up 1.3% this week and over 23% over the last 9 weeks!

Marco Rubio was steady up 0.1% to 12.2% to remain in a strong second place position.

Donald Trump has regained momentum and continues in third. He was up 0.4% to 7.0%. Trump has been up for four straight weeks from 5.7%.

Bernie Sanders took the biggest dive this week declining by 1% to 3.4%.  The Democratic nomination seems to be  a foregone conclusion as Sanders has now declined for 5 weeks and Clinton’s lead over that time has increased by over 9%.

The hottest Republican candidate right now seems to be Ted Cruz.  He was up 0.4% to 2.9%.  This was enough for him to pass up one time favorite Jeb Bush for fifth place overall.   Cruz has been up for ten straight weeks over which he has gone from 13th place to 5th place.

Jeb Bush continues his decline, dropping another 0.2% to 2.8%.  This is the 10th straight drop in a row for the former Republican front-runner.

Ben Carson’s recent struggles continue as he drops another 0.5% to 1.5%.  This is the fourth straight decline over which he has gone from 2.5% to 1.5%.

The secondary Republican candidates seem to be running out of time:

John Kasich who comes in 9th place overall dropped 0.2% to 0.6%.  He has dropped eight straight weeks from 1.8%.

Carly Fiorina is in 10th place and dropped another 0.1% to 0.6%.  She has now declined for seven straight weeks from 2.5%.

Mike Huckabee is in 11th place and dropped another 0.1% to 0.4%.  He has dropped for seven straight weeks from 1%.

Updated Odds: Clinton Widens Lead; Jindal Drops Out; Rubio, Trump, and Cruz up; Sanders, Bush, Carson Down

Hillary Clinton continued to widen her lead on the field, reaching another high at 61.4% up from 60.5%.  She has now improved in eight straight weeks from 39.2%.

Her closest competitor for the White House has become Marco Rubio.  Rubio was up again from 11.6% to 12.1%.  He has been up in 8 of the last 9 weeks when he was at just 5.8%.  He has now been Clinton’s leading competitor for the last 5 weeks.

After struggling a bit, Donald Trump appears to have regained some of his momentum.  He improves 0.4% to 6.6% and has been up the last three weeks.  He is still below the high he established in mid September at 8.5%.

The other hot candidate is Ted Cruz.  Cruz improves 0.4% to 2.5%.  That was enough to have him jump over Ben Carson for 6th place, his highest standing in the race.  Cruz has been up 9 straight weeks from 0.8% and 13th place in the middle of September.

Several candidates continue their struggle of the lat few weeks.  Bernie Sanders was down 0.4% to 4.3%.  He remains in fourth place overall but has now been down four straight weeks from 5%.

Jeb Bush’s fall has been even more dramatic and continues.  He is down another 0.2% to 3%.  He has declined the last 9 weeks from 11.9% and 2nd place to the current 5th place.

Ben Carson appears to have peaked at 6th place and now drops to 7th place.  He was down by 0.2% to 2.0% and has been down the last three weeks.

Bobby Jindal chose to drop out of the race this week.  He was in 18th place last week and reached a peak of ninth place back in July 2014.

Updated Odds: Clinton and Rubio Continue Leads after Debate; Trump, Cruz Hot; Bush, Carson, and Fiorina Continue to Drop

There was very little change after a week where both parties had a debate.

Hillary Clinton continued to be the odds on favorite moving up 0.1% to 60.5% which matches the highest odds she has had.

Her closest Democratic competitor Bernie Sanders drops 0.1% to 4.7%.  He has now declined three straight weeks after peaking at 6.0%. He remains in fourth place overall.

Marco Rubio continues to be the hottest candidate in the field.  He gains another 0.4% to 11.6%.  Rubio has improved in 11 of the last 12 weeks when he was at only 3.3% and in 6th place overall. He is nearly twice as likely as the next candidate Donald Trump.

After a few weeks of declines, Trump appears to have turned things around.  He was up 0.4% to 6.2%.  This is his second straight week of gains although he is still lower than where he was just 4 weeks ago.

Ted Cruz also continues to gain ground up 0.2% to 2.1%.  He has now been up the last 8 weeks from 0.9%.   This has moved him from 13th place to 7th place.C

Bush continues to be the coldest candidate in the group, dropping once again by 0.2% to 3.2%.  This is the 8th straight week of drops.  Bush was at 12.6% just two months ago.

Two of the Republican “outsider” candidates have been struggling lately. Ben Carson drops by 0.1% and has dropped the last two weeks from his peak at 2.5%. He remains in 6th place.

Carly Fiorina drops by 0.2% to 0.7% and from 9th place to 10th place. She has now dropped for five straight weeks from a high of 2.9%.   This is the lowest she has been since the beginning of August.
