For the 5th straight week, Donald Trump’s odds remained at 2.77X. These are the highest odds in 13 months.
There were only two changes in the odds:
Joe Biden continued to improve his odds moving from 15.1X to 14.6X. He was at 20.0X just 9 weeks ago. This latest move was enough to move him from 5th place to 4th place jumping over Elizabeth Warren.
Elizabeth Warren continued to drop as her odds moved from 14.7X to 14.9X. She has dropped for the last 4 weeks. Warren was in 3rd place at the beginning of March but began to drop shortly thereafter when she announced she would serve out her term if she wins in November. She is now in 5th place, her lowest showing in the election cycle.
Donald Trump’s odds stayed flat to the last two weeks at 2.77X. These are his high highest odds in over a year and nearly as high as the next five competitors combined.
Most of the movement this week came from outside the top 10:
Michelle Obama shared she will not be running a little over a week ago. There seemed to be a delay in the odds as they were flat last week and dropped this week from 28.0X to 34.5X. That was enough to have her drop from 9th place to 10th place.
Donald Trump’s odds remained constant from last week at 2.77X. He’s had those same odds in 3 of the last 4 weeks. They are his highest in the last 56 weeks. They are nearly as high as the next five opponents combined.
Joe Biden’s odds kept on improving this week as polls kept showing favorable numbers. The odds improved from 16.1X to 15.6X. They have now been up for 5 straight weeks, when he was at 20.0X. He remained in 6th place overall.
Dwayne Johnson sounded like a candidate, just not for 2020 in an interview with Rolling Stone. His odds dropped from 37.4X to 39.9X. These are his lowest odds since July 2017.
