Trump’s Odds Drop for 5th Straight Week but Still Near Highs; Ghost of Anita Hill Testimony Haunts Biden; Booker: “Irresponsible” not to Consider Running; O’Rourke Continues to Rocket up Standings

Donald Trump’s odds dropped for the fifth straight week.  They are now at 2.51X compared to last week’s 2.49X.  These are his lowest odds since the middle of June but still close to his high of 2.31X, achieved only 8 weeks ago.

The Kavanaugh confirmation hearings seem to be bad news for Joe Biden as it’s brought up memories of his mishandling of the Anita Hill testimony. His odds dropped from 15.7X to 17.1X, his lowest since March.  He remains in fifth place overall.

Cory Booker said it would be irresponsible for him not to consider running for President. His odds improved from 27.2X to 25.3X, his best in over a year.  Even with the bounce up in odds he dropped in the standings this week to 8th place, as the hottest name over the last few weeks moved ahead of him.

Beto O’Rourke  saw another jump in odds.  He was up from 32.9X to 25.2X.  He has rocketed up the odds the last 5 weeks when he made his debut.  His first appearance on the these weekly odds was in the last week of August at 54.7X in 15th place, after his defense of NFL players went viral.  He is  in 7th place overall and currently in a tight Senate race with Ted Cruz.

Trump’s Odds Drop to Lowest in 100 Days, Warren Jumps to a New ’18 High; Bloomberg Rumored to be Running; Dimon’s Comments Put Him on Trump’s Radar

Donald Trump’s odds fell for the fourth straight week dropping from 2.45X to 2.49X.  This is the lowest he has been in nearly 100 days.  This week’s bad news was around Paul Manafort pleading guilty and cooperating with the Feds.

Elizabeth Warren saw a big jump from 12.6X to 11.7X.  These are her highest odds this year.  Her all time high came in June 2017 at 9.7X.  She remains in third place overall.  CNN has her in first place in their monthly “power rankings of Democrats”.

Michael Bloomberg’s odds jumped as a source confirmed he will run. His odds jumped from 47.7X to 44.5X.  These are his highest odds in five weeks.  He is in 13th place overall.

Jamie Dimon said he can beat Trump, causing a Trump Twitter attack. His odds jumped from 58.7X to 48.1X.  That was enough to move him from 19th place to 15th place.

Trump Sees a Small Drop for 3rd Straight Week; Kamala Harris’ and Cory Booker’s Odds Improve on Senate Hearings with Harris Reaching New High; Garcetti Keeps 2020 Buzz Going

Donald Trump’s Odds saw a small drop for the third straight week, moving from 2.44X to 2.45X.  These are his lowest odds in 11 weeks but still much higher than his overall average of 2.90X this cycle.  His odds have ranged between a high of 2.31X (beginning of August) and a low of 3.46X (Sept 2017).

Kamala Harris and Cory Booker used the Senate hearings to increase their national profile and their odds responded to it. Kamala Harris reached an all time high at 9.3X up from last week’s 10.3X (then an all time high). This is also the highest odds of any Democrat throughout this cycle.

Cory Booker moved up from 31.8X to 27.4X, his highest since March 2018.  This moved him from 9th place to 7th place.  His best odds were back in Nov of 2016 when he was in 5th place at 19.6X.

L.A. Mayor keeps creating buzz around running.  He was in Cleveland and came “one step shy of announcing 2020 Presidential candidacy”. His odds improved from 58.9X to 53.8X, a new all time high.  He moved from 23rd place to 16th place.
