Trump’s Odds Drop for 5th Straight Week but Still Near Highs; Ghost of Anita Hill Testimony Haunts Biden; Booker: “Irresponsible” not to Consider Running; O’Rourke Continues to Rocket up Standings

Donald Trump’s odds dropped for the fifth straight week.  They are now at 2.51X compared to last week’s 2.49X.  These are his lowest odds since the middle of June but still close to his high of 2.31X, achieved only 8 weeks ago.

The Kavanaugh confirmation hearings seem to be bad news for Joe Biden as it’s brought up memories of his mishandling of the Anita Hill testimony. His odds dropped from 15.7X to 17.1X, his lowest since March.  He remains in fifth place overall.

Cory Booker said it would be irresponsible for him not to consider running for President. His odds improved from 27.2X to 25.3X, his best in over a year.  Even with the bounce up in odds he dropped in the standings this week to 8th place, as the hottest name over the last few weeks moved ahead of him.

Beto O’Rourke  saw another jump in odds.  He was up from 32.9X to 25.2X.  He has rocketed up the odds the last 5 weeks when he made his debut.  His first appearance on the these weekly odds was in the last week of August at 54.7X in 15th place, after his defense of NFL players went viral.  He is  in 7th place overall and currently in a tight Senate race with Ted Cruz.
