Trump Sees Slight Decline in Odds; Sanders Jumps Over Warren for 3rd; O’Rourke and Avenatti Continue to See Their Odds Soar

For the second straight week, Donald Trump saw his odds drop slightly.  This time from 2.42X to 2.44X.  These are the lowest odds he has had in 9 weeks, but more than four times more likely than the next closest competitor.

Bernie Sanders saw a jump in his odds from 13.1X to 12.5X.  These were enough to have him jump over fellow liberal Elizabeth Warren for third place overall. Is there room for the both of them?

A couple of unlikely candidates continued to be hot in the betting world.  Beto O’Rourke keeps picking up momentum after making his debut last week.  His odds are up from 54.7X to 41.6X, moving him up from 15th place to 13th place.  He has become a favorite for those on the left looking for an “Obama-like savior to surface”.

The other unlikely name to be soaring is Michael Avenatti.  His odds rose from 55.5X last week to 43.4X this week allowing him to jump from 16th place to 14th place.  Avenatti is one of the few candidates who isn’t shy about sharing his intent about running.  It may be a publicity stunt, but one can argue Trump was in the same boat four years ago.
