Updated Weekly Odds: Clinton and Bush Extend Leads; Rubio Drops; Trump Still Hot; Kasich into Top 10; Warren Finally out of Top Ten

For the second week in a row, Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush have reached all time highs.

Hillary Clinton increased from 44.9% to 46.6%.  She is nearly 33% ahead of Jeb Bush for the overall lead and and more than 43% ahead of her closest Democratic competitor.

Bush improved from 13.0% to 13.7%.  At the same time Marco Rubio dropped from 4.9% to 4.0%.  Over the last three weeks, these top two Republican candidates have moved in the opposite direction. As a result, Bush’s lead over Rubio has expanded from 6.9% to 9.8%.

Scott Walker and Bernie Sanders’s odds did not change and remained in 4th and 5th place at 3.5% and 3.1% respectively.

Donald Trump continued his hot streak.  He moved up from 8th place to 6th place overall at 2.2% jumping over Rand Paul and Joe Biden.

John Kasich seems to be picking up some momentum jumping from 12th place last week to 9th place this week.

Reality seems to have finally hit those betting on Elizabeth Warren.  She has constantly said she is not running but the odds, until this week, had consistently had her in the top 10. This week, Warren dropped from 9th to 12th.

Updated Weekly Odds: Clinton and Bush Reach a High; Trump Rise Continues; Rubio, Walker, Sanders fall; Kasich Enters

Hillary Clinton had the biggest rise on the week improving to the highest any of the candidates have ever been at 44.9%.  This is her fourth straight week with an increase.  This increase has come as a result of drops for those that were once seen as competitors to her nomination.  Over that same time period, we have seen drops for Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Martin O’Malley, and Jim Webb.  The only exception has been Bernie Sanders.

Sanders, at this moment, appears to be the only legitimate threat to Clinton’s nomination.  He is in 5th place overall at 3.1%.  Prior to this week, he had risen for six straight weeks.  This week, he saw a decline of 0.1%.

On the Republican side, Jeb Bush has reached the highest level for any of the 2nd place candidates at 13%, up from prior week’s 12.5%.  He has also widened the gap against his main competitors.  Marco Rubio dropped from 5.6% to 4.9% and Scott Walker dropped from 3.9% to 3.6%.

The hottest candidate has been Donald Trump.  In spite of all the controversial comments, he continues his rise.  He is now in 8th place overall at 1.5%.  He was in 50th place a mere 6 weeks ago.

Another week, and another entry into the race.  John Kasich became the latest, and likely the last mainstream entry into the race.  He moved up from 14th place to 12th place.  Kasich has been as high as 9th back in May.

We now have 16 candidates on the Republican side and 5 on the Democratic.  Here is a full list of all candidates, declared and not:
