Updated Odds: Cruz into Top 5; Clinton and Trump Continue Hot Streak; Sanders, Bush, Carson Continue with Recent Struggles

Hillary Clinton continues moving along and gaining momentum every week.  She is now at 62.7% and has now been up for 9 straight weeks.  She was up 1.3% this week and over 23% over the last 9 weeks!

Marco Rubio was steady up 0.1% to 12.2% to remain in a strong second place position.

Donald Trump has regained momentum and continues in third. He was up 0.4% to 7.0%. Trump has been up for four straight weeks from 5.7%.

Bernie Sanders took the biggest dive this week declining by 1% to 3.4%.  The Democratic nomination seems to be  a foregone conclusion as Sanders has now declined for 5 weeks and Clinton’s lead over that time has increased by over 9%.

The hottest Republican candidate right now seems to be Ted Cruz.  He was up 0.4% to 2.9%.  This was enough for him to pass up one time favorite Jeb Bush for fifth place overall.   Cruz has been up for ten straight weeks over which he has gone from 13th place to 5th place.

Jeb Bush continues his decline, dropping another 0.2% to 2.8%.  This is the 10th straight drop in a row for the former Republican front-runner.

Ben Carson’s recent struggles continue as he drops another 0.5% to 1.5%.  This is the fourth straight decline over which he has gone from 2.5% to 1.5%.

The secondary Republican candidates seem to be running out of time:

John Kasich who comes in 9th place overall dropped 0.2% to 0.6%.  He has dropped eight straight weeks from 1.8%.

Carly Fiorina is in 10th place and dropped another 0.1% to 0.6%.  She has now declined for seven straight weeks from 2.5%.

Updated Odds: Clinton Widens Lead; Jindal Drops Out; Rubio, Trump, and Cruz up; Sanders, Bush, Carson Down

Hillary Clinton continued to widen her lead on the field, reaching another high at 61.4% up from 60.5%.  She has now improved in eight straight weeks from 39.2%.

Her closest competitor for the White House has become Marco Rubio.  Rubio was up again from 11.6% to 12.1%.  He has been up in 8 of the last 9 weeks when he was at just 5.8%.  He has now been Clinton’s leading competitor for the last 5 weeks.

After struggling a bit, Donald Trump appears to have regained some of his momentum.  He improves 0.4% to 6.6% and has been up the last three weeks.  He is still below the high he established in mid September at 8.5%.

The other hot candidate is Ted Cruz.  Cruz improves 0.4% to 2.5%.  That was enough to have him jump over Ben Carson for 6th place, his highest standing in the race.  Cruz has been up 9 straight weeks from 0.8% and 13th place in the middle of September.

Several candidates continue their struggle of the lat few weeks.  Bernie Sanders was down 0.4% to 4.3%.  He remains in fourth place overall but has now been down four straight weeks from 5%.

Jeb Bush’s fall has been even more dramatic and continues.  He is down another 0.2% to 3%.  He has declined the last 9 weeks from 11.9% and 2nd place to the current 5th place.

Ben Carson appears to have peaked at 6th place and now drops to 7th place.  He was down by 0.2% to 2.0% and has been down the last three weeks.

Bobby Jindal chose to drop out of the race this week.  He was in 18th place last week and reached a peak of ninth place back in July 2014.
